located on the eighty sixth floor is a blue door, with a white clock in the center. Above the blue door, on the yellow striped background, is the numbers 11, 5, 1, 8, 12 placed above the door.
1. Tap 11, tap and drag dial counter-clock-wise to 11 position
2. Tap 5, tap and drag dial clock-wise to 5 position

You have to tap the number at the top before turning the clock each time, so tap #11 turn it counter clockwise to 11, tap #5 turn it clockwise to 5 ect.

that time i made sure the clock never spun in the wrong direction, not even for a small correction, but I’m not even sure that was it.

I am using a samsung galaxy 2 and after several tries I moved the hand to each number without lifting my finger off the screen. I only paused a second in between each number. dont lift your finger to press the numbers at the top.

I read that the key is to not touch the inside of the clock. Just get as close to it as possible without touching the inside. Worked for me and I tried a million times before!!

Yes .. I got a stylus and touched only the ring – not the hand … btw, don’t remember the order, just watch which way the number spins … you do not have to circle the clock on the 11 or any other ritual ..

This is what worked for me:
tap all of the numbers at the top take note on which way that they spin, then copy on the clock without removing your finger just continuously drag the hand around the right way until u get to 12, hope that helps.

When u tap the numbers see whether it turns clockwise or anti clockwise and just adjust the hand to the number according to the direction the number turned =)

Tried everything here 50+ times, thinking maybe I had to be inch perfect (release exactly on the time, not before or after). Got to where i could do it perfectly, tried slow, fast, refreshed each time. Yes, i understand the walkthrough, and how clocks work, this simply must not work on some phones/os. I have a moto driod razer and just got ice cream sammy a couple weeks.ago.

Couldn’t get it for ages! But i figured it out. pretty sure your finger must be on the edge of the clock? Like around the edge where numbers usually are? Or maybe i fluked it because i thought i might try it and it worked….

The clock hand does not rest on the 8 exactly. It sits slightly to the right or slighrly to the left . And yea I have followed directions perfectly. Been trying it for days tried uninstalling then reinstalling but I believe this why I can’t pass it….BOOOOOOOOOO

Did it at last! Tried awesome pants idea of tracing it round on the end of the clock and it worked
Also chosse the option just above the 8 and made sure there was no going backwards to correct if missed the number.

You have to click the top numbers, then rotate clockwise or counter clockwise depending on the number SLOWLY. Go slow

It wasn’t working for me either. The key is to not touch the inside of the clock. Press the button before you move it to that number and only trace the outside of the clock with your finger, the dial will still move

When I did it, I never let go of the dial. I just paused at the correct number and slightly above the eight. But it worked.

What the heck? this is so annoying. I’ve tried everything a hundred time. I did the 11 thing and just the edge. I even tried to use a stylus to make it more accurate. Of course it didn’t work. I think I might stop playing

I made sure to let the clock hand ‘TIC’ off every 1/2 hour and it worked every time. If I skipped a ‘tic’ and went too fast it failed.

Been trying this level for 3 days and it doesnt work!!! I have tried slow, fast, double tapping, doing the clock hand while the number is spinning, tried using all my fingers, thumb included. Phone upside down, on its side, in the dark, with the light on…….. Etc!!!!

I got it to work for me! Don’t tap the numbers in between. Keep your finger on the clock at all times do not lift your finger. also go a full circle to the eleven! I hope this helps anyone who is still stuck

No need to spin the numbers (except to memorize what direction each number spins) Move the clock hand to each number. it opens right up!

Like the others I have had the same problem on my Droid3. Noticed if I took finger of clock hand after 1 moving to 8, the hand wouldn’t move easily. Did the finger on the outside without lifting up and hand movec easily to 8 and door opened after going to12. Didn’t line up exactly on eight either. Didn’t need to tap numbers above either. Speed didn’t matter. Key is not to lift finger. Glitch is at the number 1 to 8 move.

I finally got it after about 8 tries. Basically what I did was move to 11, wait about 8 seconds, move to 5, wait about 8 seconds, etc…

This worked for me!! I moved around the clock and counted to ’8′ slowly before moving on to the next number. As soon as I did this, it worked!

AHHH! is correct…dont spin the numbers…dont lift the finger after you start..take full circle for 11..and the rest as they are required !!!

It does work:
11 go counter clockwise full circle once.
For the other numbers you do not need to go full circle.
Tap # and move dial accordingly.
Make sure you don’t move a step in the wrong direction ( not even a bit),
Make sure your finger is on the edge of the clock ( where the # should be.)

Keep you finger on the circle as you go to each number. Worked for me that way after trying several times.

You tap the number and go the direction the number moves. With the first number 11 you go to the left(counterclockwise) one space to the 11. Do not go all the way around. Then directly to the other numbers numbers in the direction they move. The elevator opened right up.

Go really slow. Do not take finger off the screen, you don’t have to tap the numbers. Pause at each for like 10seconds. After trying it for like a thousand times, I finally Got it by doing that!

This worked on my kindle fire…
get to know the directions of all 5 before moving clock. Then with your finger on the OUTSIDE of the clock, start at the 12 and do one full rotation counterclockwise (ccw) and go past 12 to 11…IMPORTANT DO NOT LIFT UP YOUR FINGER!!! Go immidiately cw to 5, cw to 1, ccw to 8, cw to 1. This opened the door for me. Hope it works for you. Leave your finger connected the whole time.

I have an iPhone and I’ve been trying this for about an hour. It finally worked for me when I pressed all the buttons in a row then just went from each time to the other WITHOUT pressing the button between each one.

touch all the numbers and see which way they spin. then spin the hand by touching the border of the clock (where the numbers would be). remember to pause as you get to each number.
The order is anti clockwise to 11, clockwise 5, clockwise to 1, anti clockwise to 8, clockwise to 12.

GOT IT FINALLY! Don’t need to push the buttons in between. Put finger on hand and keep it on the whole time when you move it. Don’t take your finger off the hand. You don’t need to push the buttons or not touch the Hand and just the ring or n full revolution or anything, just make sure you turn it the right way each time with a bit of a pause at each number.

There must be an issue with the latest version! I have an older version on my old iPhone and can complete this level multiple times in a row but on my 4s with the latest version I can’t get it to work! I’ve tried over 100 times in a million different ways and the doors won’t open! But with the older version I can open the doors almost every time!

I think there must be numerous anomalies with this app, as people seem to get the doors to open doing different things. As I said before I could complete this level on an old iPhone but could not use the same method on my new iPhone! I tried all the different combinations that were suggested as well all the ones I could think up myself and none of them worked!
Then literally straight after I made my initial post I read a suggestion to tap all the buttons and then without taking your finger off the clock go through each number in the indicated direction except instead of stopping at 8 I stopped at 8:30 and then went to 12 and the door opened! This is obviously an error as it makes no sense whatsoever!

This does work. You do need to not only go extremely slow and let each 30 second tic happen, but once you start do not lift your finger and keep it outside of the clock, the hour hand will still move as long as you keep your finger on the screen once you start, and you do need to go one full circle counter clockwise before going to the 11. The rest you don’t.

Galaxy II, the comment made about not lifting your finger worked. write down the direction the numbers go, place your finger where the number are and pull the hand in the direction to the next number without lifting your finger off the screen. Did not have to go a full counter clock wise for the first number, 11.
